Yesterday we decided to take Grayson to Build A Bear so, that he could make his baby sister a bear designed by him to bring to her when he comes to meet her in the hospital on her birthday (this Thursday). We felt this would be something that he would really get into and enjoy doing. We were right! We had been talking to him about doing this for a few days so he was really ready once we finally arrived at Build A Bear. He was able to choose what kind of stuffed animal he wanted to make from the few choices we gave him. He chose a soft bunny rabbit with a pink nose and big floppy ears. Then he was able to pick a sound. There was an option that he could record a personal message as a sound. Greg and I loved this idea. That way we would always have Grayson's little boy voice in the bear. He recorded "I Love You baby Sister" for the message. It is so sweet! Next he did the heart ceremony and helped the lady stuff the rabbit. Once that was done and the bunny was stuffed. Grayson took his bunny over to the bathing station for a bath and to make sure she was all clean. Then we picked out a shirt and last but not least we named the bunny and designed her birth certificate. Her name is "Bunny Love". Grayson is really excited to meet his baby sister this Thur and give her the bear he made just for her. Here are some pic's. Enjoy!
