This post is REALLY late! This past spring break which was in March btw, we went to a little Island called Casey Key, that is in Nokomis, FL which is near Sarasota, FL. Greg's aunt owns a cute little beach cottage that is literally right on the beach. This was great for the obvious reasons as well as, being literally 20 yards from the house was very convenient for Vivi's nap schedule. We could literally put her down for a nap and sit in our chairs on the beach b/c the monitor worked perfectly from our beach chairs because we were about 20 steps away.
The beach was gorgeous and we were literally 4 of 10 people on this particular stretch of beach! Can we say private!!! We spent our days playing on the beach, taking walks while finding a ton a sharks teeth, looking a thousands of sea shells, flying a kite on the beach each day, Grayson even came across an actual shark that had washed up onto the beach... very, very exciting for him! We were also able to catch up with some old friends, Joni and Eric Cochran and their two adorable kids Natalie and Kevin, who now live in Naples.
