The other day Grayson was pushing our tiny Chihuahua, Dixie around in her cage. While he was doing this, I was online looking up the Zoo hours when I suddenly heard Grayson start to cry. When I turned around, I was surprised to see parts of Grayson inside of Dixie's dog cage. What I mean by parts, is Grayson's head was at the very back of the cage, while one of his arms was above his head with his hand sticking out of the top of the cage, one of his legs was positioned above his head (his ankle was by his ear) and the other leg was still on the outside of the cage, he was kind-of in the splits. I immediately tried to get him out which took longer than I would have liked (the longest 2 minutes of my life). At one point, I thought I was going to have to call the fire department. Grayson was really scared and was starting to panic a little. I kept, "saying Grayson calm down it going to be okay, Mommy is going to get you out, your STUCK baby, calm down". I finally got him out in one piece and he was okay just still a little scared but, nothing a little TLC and his Lovie could not fix. I am still trying to figure out ONE, how he got himself into the position he was in and Two, how he got inside of the cage to begin with (it is a tiny cage)? The rest of the day he would go up to the cage and say "stuck" , "stuck". Today is Wed. and I he is still obsessed with the word stuck. See, in Grayson's eyes allot of things have become "stuck". For example, the pages of his books are "stuck" when the story is over and there are no more pages to turn, his wooden blocks are "stuck" when the get pushed under the table , the tree outside is even "stuck" because it won't move when Grayson tries to push it. The word "STUCK" is now Grayson's favorite new word. Below I posted some pic's of the cage so, you all can see how small it really is. Keep in mind that Dixie, our tiny Chihuahua, only weighs 4 pounds.
